The human beginning
Where It Began
GI.EVENTS did not begin in a boardroom or emerge from a market trend. It began in a middle-class home in Patna, Bihar, with a young father who simply wanted to make his daughter’s birthdays special.
I married at an early age, and when my daughter was born, my income was not yet consistent. But the happiness, excitement and dreams I carried for her were no different from those of any other father.
Her first birthday was lovingly celebrated by her grandparents. At that time, I did not have to worry about arranging the celebration or managing its expenses. In the years that followed, however, I wanted to organise her birthdays myself—to give her occasions filled with happiness, memories and everything a child might enjoy.
That was when I began to understand how difficult even a seemingly simple celebration could become.
A birthday required a venue, food, decoration, a cake, entertainment, photography, return gifts and several smaller arrangements. Whenever I managed to arrange the venue and catering, very little remained for the other elements. If I added decoration, I had to leave out entertainment. If I found an affordable place, another requirement would exceed the amount available.
Something was always missing.
Every attempt led to another round of phone calls, calculations, compromises and re-planning. I would repeatedly reorganise the celebration, hoping to make everything fit together, but many plans could not finally be executed in the way I had imagined.
The difficulty was not a lack of love, enthusiasm or willingness.
It was the absence of a single place where I could understand the complete event, see the likely cost of every important element, decide what mattered most and bring the celebration together within the resources available to me.
This is the occasion. This is what it means to me. These are the people I want to celebrate with. These are my priorities, and this is what I can responsibly spend. Please help me understand what is possible.
I wanted one place where a parent could plan an entire birthday instead of separately searching for a venue, caterer, decorator, photographer, entertainer and gift supplier without knowing how the final cost would come together.
I could not find such a place.
That absence gradually became an idea.
From one experience to a wider need
What One Birthday Revealed
The birthday was the first experience that revealed the problem. It was never intended to become the boundary of the idea.
For families, the problem often appeared as uncertain costs, incomplete arrangements and too many disconnected service providers.
For startups, it appeared as the challenge of creating a professional launch, conference, exhibition or gathering while using limited organisational resources responsibly.
For established organisations, it appeared as the need for accountability, dependable execution, defined responsibilities and timely coordination.
For cultural and religious occasions, it appeared as the difficulty of finding organisers, priests, artists, performers and specialists who genuinely understood the traditions, sequence, regional practices and dignity of the event.
For custom occasions, it appeared as the difficulty of finding someone capable of understanding an idea that did not fit into a predefined package.
The occasions were different, but the underlying need remained the same: clarity, trusted people, thoughtful planning and coordinated execution.
The reason to build
Why We Came
We came because meaningful events should not have to be abandoned merely because planning is confusing, services are fragmented or the complete cost is difficult to understand.
- Customers should not have to contact several disconnected providers without understanding the complete event.
- A family’s available budget should be respected rather than judged.
- Startups should be able to create professional events without irresponsible expenditure.
- Cultural and religious occasions should be supported by people who understand their authenticity and significance.
- Custom ideas should be understood before being forced into an existing package.
- Customers need more than a directory of names and telephone numbers.
- Event planning should offer clarity before major commitments are made.
- Different services should work together around the event rather than operate as isolated transactions.
We came because people need more than a list of vendors. They need a way to understand what is possible, decide what is appropriate and bring the complete occasion together.
A connected planning direction
What GI.EVENTS Is Being Built to Do
GI.EVENTS is being built to understand the occasion before recommending the arrangement.
It is not being built merely to display services. It is being built to help the customer understand, plan and coordinate the complete occasion.

Bring together
Planning guidance, budget understanding, services, suitable vendors, venues, cultural specialists, hospitality, travel, gifting and guest support.
Coordinate
How the event may progress from its opening to its conclusion as the platform, service capability and local network develop.

The principles beneath the platform
Our Philosophy
Purpose Before Packages
The planning journey should begin with the customer’s reason, requirement and priorities—not with a package someone wants to sell.
Budget Without Judgement
Budget is an important planning input, but it is not a measure of the customer’s importance or the emotional value of the occasion.
Clarity Before Commitment
Customers should be able to understand likely requirements, planning ranges, priorities and choices before making major commitments.
Coordination Over Fragmentation
A complete event requires different services and people to work together rather than operate as disconnected transactions.
Authenticity Where It Matters
Cultural, religious and traditional occasions require genuine understanding, not generic execution.
Customisation Without Forced Categories
An original idea should not be reduced merely because it does not fit into an existing package or event label.
Technology With Human Understanding
Planning tools and digital systems should simplify decisions, while human assistance should remain available wherever judgement, sensitivity and coordination are required.
The occasion may be personal or professional, intimate or large, traditional or entirely new. Our responsibility remains the same: to understand its purpose, respect its priorities and help bring every essential element together.
A responsible direction
Where We Are Going
Our journey began with a father searching for a better way to celebrate his daughter. Our direction is a platform where any person, family, community, startup, institution or organisation can begin with an idea and move toward a thoughtfully planned event.
As the platform and network develop, that direction may include structured planning journeys, better budget guidance, requirement prioritisation, location-aware planning, suitable specialist discovery, integrated planning records, travel and hospitality support, custom-event conceptualisation and stronger coordination from enquiry to completion.
Every event may not require the same services—but every meaningful event deserves to be understood.
