Is vendor registration with GI.EVENTS free?
Yes. Registration is completely free. There is no fee to apply or to register.
Which event vendors can register with GI.EVENTS?
Every kind of wedding and event vendor from anywhere in India: decorators, caterers, tent houses, photographers, makeup and mehndi artists, entertainers, pandits, transport, gifting and more. Venues apply through List Your Venue.
How long does the vendor application take?
A few minutes. The more you tell us, the better we can match you with the right clients.
Enquiries and clients
Will GI.EVENTS bring me event bookings and leads?
We may share suitable enquiries with you based on your category, location, capacity and the client’s preferences. The client makes the final choice, so enquiries and bookings are not guaranteed.
Will GI.EVENTS take my client or go around me?
Our aim is to work with you, not around you. Client contact details are shared once prices are agreed, and the written terms we agree with you before any booking cover how both sides work with clients introduced through GI.EVENTS.
Pricing and payment
Who sets my price?
You set your own price, and you decide whether to accept an enquiry. How your price is paid is set out in the written terms we agree with you before any booking.
How do I get paid?
How the client pays, for example an advance through GI.EVENTS and the balance directly to you, and your cancellation terms are agreed with you in writing before any booking is confirmed, because a venue, a caterer and a photographer each work differently.
Your content and details
Who owns my photos and content?
Your photos, videos and words remain yours. We show only what you approve, on your profile and on our website. If you leave, we take your profile off the website; some records may be kept where the law, accounting or a booking already made requires it.
What happens to my contact details?
We do not sell your details. We use them to review your application and to contact you about work with GI.EVENTS. Some records may be kept where the law or accounting requires it, as our Privacy Policy explains.
Can I leave GI.EVENTS later?
Yes, at any time. Email events@gestureindia.in to ask for your profile to be removed, and we will take it off the website. Stored details are handled as our Privacy Policy explains.
Documents and trust
Is GI.EVENTS a real business?
Yes. Gesture India Events has its office in Patna and facilitates events throughout India. Our Story explains how GI.EVENTS began, and you can write to us at events@gestureindia.in.
What documents and proof of work will I be asked for?
After a first conversation we may ask for your GST or business registration, identity proof, and links, photos or videos of past events you have worked on. Your profile goes live only after someone at GI.EVENTS has looked at your documents and your work.
