How GI.EVENTS can help with Photographers
Every photographer has a distinct eye, and the right fit depends on your story as much as your budget. Some excel at candid emotion, others at classic family portraits or cinematic films. Through a GI.EVENTS brief you can describe your functions, preferred style and deliverables, then request a curated shortlist of photographers and filmmakers. Profiles are published only after review, and every booking is confirmed directly with the team.
- Clarifying the photography and film style you are drawn to before comparing teams
- Requesting portfolios that include full events, not only highlight images
- Comparing team size, coverage hours and deliverables across quotations
- Planning coverage for functions spread across different venues and days
- Asking the right questions about delivery timelines, albums and raw files
What to share in your brief
- Event city, dates and number of functions
- Style references you like
- Deliverables you need, such as albums or films
- Budget range for photography and video
Questions to ask before you book
- Can we see at least one complete event gallery and one full film?
- Who exactly will shoot our functions, and how many people will be in the team?
- What are the coverage hours, and what happens if functions run late?
- When will we receive edited photos, films and albums, and in what formats?
- Will drones be used, and who checks the permissions for each location?

Common questions
Why should I ask to see a full event gallery?
Highlight images show a photographer's strongest frames, but a full gallery shows consistency across lighting, crowds and long ceremonies. It gives a more honest sense of what you will receive. Ask for at least one complete gallery when shortlisting.
Photography package mein album aur raw files dono milte hain kya?
Zaroori nahi. Album ka size aur copies, edited photos, raw files aur delivery ki tareekh photographer se poochhein. Jo cheezein aapko chahiye, unhe quote mein alag se likhwa lein.
What changes the price of a wedding photography package?
The hours of coverage, how many photographers and videographers come, the number of functions, travel, and what you receive, such as edited photos, an album or a film. Ask each photographer to price the same days and functions so the quotes can be compared fairly.
Can I book a photographer directly through the website?
GI.EVENTS is not an instant-booking marketplace. You share your requirements, receive a curated shortlist, and then speak to photographers to confirm availability, scope and pricing. Booking is finalised directly with the team you choose under their terms.
Can GI.EVENTS help find photographers and filmmakers for an event in my city?
On request, yes. GI.EVENTS facilitates events throughout India and can help you request a shortlist of photographers and filmmakers for your city, subject to verification of local capacity. The site does not list photographers for every city, and availability, scope and prices are confirmed directly before anything is booked.
