An Indian wedding rarely happens in one evening. The haldi is in bright morning sun, the mehndi runs through a long afternoon and the baraat moves down a street at night, while the pheras can go on past midnight by the light of the sacred fire. A nikah, an Anand Karaj at the gurdwara and church vows each have their own moments and customs too. Families remember the photographer who knew when each important moment was about to happen, and who was there without getting in the way of the priest or the elders.
We like to see at least one wedding or event covered from start to finish, not only the best ten frames, because families want to know how you handle crowded rooms, low light and the quiet moments between rituals. Tell us whether you shoot candid, traditional or both, how many people work with you and how long you take to deliver photos and albums. If you learnt your craft on film and have photographed weddings for decades, say so: that experience is worth a great deal to the families we plan for.

No. Applying does not create a public listing, verification or partnership. Our team reviews each application, may ask for business, pricing and document details, and any working relationship needs separate approval and agreement. Registering does not promise enquiries or bookings.

Your own work from real events, with permission from the people shown. Our team looks at your past work before any profile goes live, so links to your portfolio, Instagram or YouTube help.
Register here with links to your work. When a family near you plans an event and your style, dates and packages suit them, our team may contact you for a quote. Registering does not promise bookings, but a clear portfolio and quick replies help families decide.
Yes. You quote your own packages and decide whether to accept an enquiry.
Yes. Individual photographers with a PAN can apply, and no GST number is needed to apply. Most service providers do not need GST registration until their yearly turnover across India goes above Rs 20 lakh (Rs 10 lakh in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura); some cases need registration sooner. During review our team may ask for your GSTIN, Udyam number or PAN.
If your turnover in the previous year was up to Rs 50 lakh, the composition scheme lets you pay GST at 6% of your turnover and file simpler returns. In return you cannot charge GST to clients or claim input tax credit, you cannot make inter-state supplies (which can rule out some work for events in other states), and you cannot supply through e-commerce platforms that collect tax. Normal GST registration usually suits work with companies or across states. Either way, registering brings your business into India's growing formal economy. Please check what suits you with a chartered accountant.
Yes. On events we plan, our GI Concierge team shares the schedule and the family's key moments with you in advance and coordinates with you at the venue, so you can focus on your pictures.
