How GI.EVENTS can help with Special Effects
A couple's entry, the varmala or the first dance can be marked with cold pyro, confetti, fog, an LED wall or fireworks outside. Each effect needs space, power, safe distances and the venue's permission, and some need local permission too. GI.EVENTS helps you describe the moments you want to mark and the venue, then request options from effects providers. What is allowed, the safety plan and the charges are confirmed directly with the provider and the venue.
- Choosing effects for entries, the varmala, the cake-cutting or the send-off
- Checking indoor and outdoor rules with the venue before booking
- Planning safe distances from guests, decor, fabric and flowers
- Timing each effect with the DJ, the anchor and the photographers
- Planning LED walls and screens for the stage or the entry
What to share in your brief
- Venue, and whether the moment is indoors or outdoors
- The moments you want to mark
- Approximate guest count and stage layout
- Effects you have in mind or have seen
Questions to ask before you book
- Which effects can you use at our venue, indoors and outdoors?
- What safe distance does each effect need from guests, fabric and flowers?
- Who operates the effects on the day, and what is the plan if something fails?
- Which permissions do you check before the event, and who arranges them?
- How much power and set-up time do LED walls or screens need?
Rules worth knowing
- Under the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, a loudspeaker or public address system needs written permission from the local authority and is generally not used between 10 pm and 6 am, except in closed premises such as auditoriums, community halls and banquet halls. States can set limited exceptions, so check the timings for your venue and date. Rules change and differ by state and venue, so check the current position for your date and place. This is general information, not legal advice.

Common questions
Are fireworks allowed at every venue?
No. Many venues allow only cold pyro or no effects at all, and fireworks outdoors may need local permission and set timings. Ask the venue first, then confirm with the provider what they will check before the event.
Is cold pyro safe indoors?
Cold pyro is made for indoor use, but it still needs safe distances and the venue's approval. Ask the provider how far it must stand from guests, fabric and flowers, and who operates it on the day.
Can GI.EVENTS help find special effects providers for an event in my city?
On request, yes. GI.EVENTS facilitates events throughout India and can help you request a shortlist of special effects providers for your city, subject to verification of local capacity. The site does not list special effects for every city, and availability, scope and prices are confirmed directly before anything is booked.
