Dressing the groom for each ceremony

Many grooms wear several looks across the celebrations: perhaps a kurta for the haldi, a bandhgala or an Indo-Western outfit for the sangeet, a sherwani with a safa for the baraat, and a suit or a Jodhpuri for the reception. Regional customs matter as well: a dhoti and angavastram at many South Indian weddings, a dhoti, a panjabi and the topor at many Bengali weddings, and a bright safa at many Rajasthani weddings. Brothers, cousins and friends often want matching safas or stoles, so that the groom's side walks into the baraat looking like one family.

What grooms ask a designer or tailor

Grooms ask how early they should start, and whether a sherwani, safa and juttis can be put together as one look. They ask whether the colour can complement the bride's outfit without matching it exactly, whether a lighter fabric or lining can keep a sherwani comfortable in the heat, and whether the juttis are comfortable enough to dance in at the baraat. Many also ask whether you can arrange someone to tie the safas on the wedding day. Tell us how you handle these in the form.

Can I register from any city in India?

Yes. Vendors from anywhere in India can apply. Tell us where your business is based and the cities you serve.

Does registering list my business on the website?

No. Applying does not create a public listing, verification or partnership. Our team reviews each application, may ask for business, pricing and document details, and any working relationship needs separate approval and agreement. Registering does not promise enquiries or bookings.
