The tent house behind the celebration

In towns and villages across India, the local tent house still sets up many celebrations: the shamiana in the courtyard, the pandal on an open ground, chairs and tables for the guests, the stage, and the durries and gaddas for ceremonies where the family sits on the floor. Many tent houses also supply lights, fans and coolers for summer evenings and heaters for winter nights. A tent house that has served the same neighbourhood for years knows every lane and every ground where a pandal can stand.

What families ask a tent house

Families ask how long setting up and taking down will take, and how many guests the shamiana can seat comfortably. They ask whether the structure is anchored firmly against strong winds, whether the fabric is fire-retardant, whether the wiring is done by a licensed electrician, and whether fire extinguishers and clear exits are in place. They also ask whether the chairs are steady enough for elders. Tell us in the form what you supply, how many guests you can seat and the area you serve.

Can I register from any city in India?

Yes. Vendors from anywhere in India can apply. Tell us where your business is based and the cities you serve.

Does registering list my business on the website?

No. Applying does not create a public listing, verification or partnership. Our team reviews each application, may ask for business, pricing and document details, and any working relationship needs separate approval and agreement. Registering does not promise enquiries or bookings.
