A wedding film does more than record the day. A short highlight film is shared with relatives who could not travel, and the full ceremony is watched again by the elders for years. Good films catch sound as well as sight: the mantras at the pheras, the vows, the speeches and the songs at the sangeet. Some families also ask for a live stream so that relatives in other cities can watch the ceremony as it happens.
Families ask how long the highlight film and the full film will take, and whether they will receive the raw footage. They ask which music can be used in the film, and whether the couple can see a first cut and ask for changes before the final film. Drone shots need the venue's consent and any permission the law requires. Tell us how you handle these in the form.

No. Applying does not create a public listing, verification or partnership. Our team reviews each application, may ask for business, pricing and document details, and any working relationship needs separate approval and agreement. Registering does not promise enquiries or bookings.

Yes. Where GI.EVENTS shows a film or photo you sent us, on gestureindia.in or on our social media pages, we credit your business by name. We only show work you have sent us and allowed us to use.
Your own films from real events, with permission from the people shown. Our team looks at your past work before any profile goes live, so links to your YouTube, Vimeo or Instagram help.
Yes. Individual videographers with a PAN can apply, and no GST number is needed to apply. Most service providers do not need GST registration until their yearly turnover across India goes above Rs 20 lakh (Rs 10 lakh in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura); some cases need registration sooner. During review our team may ask for your GSTIN, Udyam number or PAN.
If your turnover in the previous year was up to Rs 50 lakh, the composition scheme lets you pay GST at 6% of your turnover and file simpler returns. In return you cannot charge GST to clients or claim input tax credit, you cannot make inter-state supplies (which can rule out some work for events in other states), and you cannot supply through e-commerce platforms that collect tax. Normal GST registration usually suits work with companies or across states. Either way, registering brings your business into India's growing formal economy. Please check what suits you with a chartered accountant.
No. Registering does not promise bookings or a fixed number of enquiries. When an event needs a videographer in your area and your work fits, our team may contact you for a quote.
